WiFi access points

Strong, stable WiFi in every corner of your home or business.

Jentala Solutions installs WiFi access points (APs) so you don’t have blind spots, weak signal or buffering. We design and install a proper WiFi layout using ceiling or wall mounted access points – not just one router sitting in the lounge.

For quicker quoting, share your suburb, internet provider and photos of where your ONT/router is.
Overview

What is a WiFi access point setup?

Instead of trying to push WiFi signal from one router through every wall, we place dedicated access points in the right locations. Each AP is connected by network cable, giving you stable coverage wherever you actually use your phone, laptop or smart TV.

Typical problems WiFi access points solve

  • Good WiFi near the router, but weak or no signal in bedrooms or offices.
  • Streaming that buffers when you move away from the router.
  • Smart TVs, cameras and printers dropping off WiFi all the time.
  • Large houses / double storey units with dead zones.
  • Offices with many devices causing slow WiFi on a single router.
  • Outdoor areas (entertainment, braai, pool) with no WiFi coverage.

What we do in a WiFi access point job

  • Check your current router position, cabling and fibre/ADSL/LTE setup.
  • Advise on how many access points you need and where they should go.
  • Run network cabling (where possible) to each AP location.
  • Mount access points on ceilings or high walls for better coverage.
  • Configure WiFi names and passwords for smooth roaming.
  • Test coverage and speeds with you before we leave.
Why choose access points

Better than “just one router and a range extender”

Range extenders often just repeat a weak signal. Wired access points use proper network backhaul, which gives you more consistency, more speed and fewer headaches.

Stable connection in more rooms

Each access point broadcasts strong WiFi where it is mounted, so you don’t rely on signal fighting through multiple walls and doors from one router.

Better roaming

We configure your access points with the same WiFi name and password so devices can move between them without you constantly reconnecting.

Cleaner, more professional look

Access points are designed to be installed on ceilings or high walls, keeping things neat and out of the way compared to routers on shelves with loose cables.

Supports more devices

Good WiFi APs handle multiple connections – phones, laptops, TVs, cameras and smart devices – without your network slowing down as quickly.

Scalable as you grow

If you extend your house, add more offices or new areas, we can add additional access points into the same network instead of starting from scratch.

Works with your existing ISP

We keep your fibre/ADSL/LTE connection with your current provider. We simply improve how the WiFi is distributed throughout your property.

How it works

Our WiFi access point installation process

Every property is different, so we look at your layout and needs first. Then we propose a setup that gives you reliable coverage in the areas that matter most.

Step-by-step

1
Quick assessment We gather your details (address, ISP, current router position) and, where possible, photos or a basic layout of your home or office.
2
Placement plan We recommend how many access points you need and where to place them for the best balance of coverage, performance and cable routes.
3
Cabling & mounting We run network cables (where practical), mount the access points on ceilings or walls, and connect them back to your router or network switch.
4
Configuration & testing We set up the WiFi names, passwords and security settings, then test signal strength and speeds in key areas with you on site.
5
Hand-over & basic training We show you how to connect devices, rename networks if needed, and explain what was installed where for future reference.
